This black belt, designed for international competitors, is named Taisho, after the strongest judoka in a judo team, who is typically the team leader. After years of experience with the new IJF standards, KuSakura's R&D department created this model, a belt that almost feels like a thick obi but is within official standards. It is also the only IJF model that can be fully embroidered.

This black belt is made in Japan from 100% premium cotton.

It is officially approved by the IJF and accepted in all judo competitions at all levels.

With a width of 4.5 cm and 13 rows of top stitching, this model is highly durable, allowing for an elegant large knot.
